Grain Dryer Monitoring
Grain Drying Monitoring
Remote temperature and humidity monitoring for the grain dryer. Sensors on the exhaust, incoming, and outdoor air stream readings to the cloud, so you can follow the drying process from your phone instead of driving out to the dryer just to check how a batch is going.
The Dryer on Your Phone
Through harvest, the only traditional way to know how a grain dryer is running is to go and look — repeatedly, including through the night. This offering replaces those trips with a live view of the dryer's temperatures on a phone or computer, so the operator can see how a batch is progressing from the kitchen table, the field, or bed, and only head out when something actually needs doing.
How it's deployed
Sensors measure temperature and humidity on the dryer's exhaust air and incoming air, alongside the outdoor air for context, and a wireless base station with a built-in SIM streams the readings to the Seemoto cloud — no farm broadband needed. The sensors, transmitter, and base station arrive pre-configured, and the system runs independently of the dryer's own controls, so it fits dryers of any age, brand, or model.
Evidence & Reporting
Each batch is captured as a clear temperature graph that shows the drying and cooling phases, with five-year data retention so seasons can be compared and a good drying recipe repeated. The record lives in the cloud automatically — there is no manual logging to keep up.
Included and Optional Capabilities
Included
- Exhaust, Inlet & Outdoor Air Sensors
Three sensors track temperature and humidity on the dryer's exhaust air, incoming air, and the outdoor air
- Sensor Transmitter & Base Station
Four-channel transmitter with a wireless base station (SIM included) that streams readings to the Seemoto cloud
- Drying Progress View
Clear temperature graph showing the drying and cooling phases on phone or computer
- Email & SMS Alerts
Deviation alerts delivered by email or text message
- 5-Year Data Retention
Every batch is stored for later review and comparison
Optional add-ons
- 4th Sensor Channel
Optional additional measurement point on the four-channel transmitter
- Multi-Dryer Expansion
Additional sensors and base stations to monitor more than one dryer
- Continued Cloud Service
Cloud access and data retention continue after the included first year

Frequently Asked Questions
No — it measures the dryer's air temperatures and humidity rather than the moisture content of the grain itself. In practice the exhaust-air temperature curve is what shows the drying and cooling phases clearly, and that is what most operators use to judge how a batch is progressing and when each phase is done.
Yes. The system is completely independent of the dryer's own controls, so it works on dryers of any brand, model, or age — including older dryers with no electronics. The sensors simply measure the air at the dryer and report to the cloud.
No. The base station includes a SIM and connects over the cellular network, so readings reach the Seemoto cloud and your phone even at a dryer with no Wi-Fi or fixed broadband nearby.
