Export Shipment Monitoring
Low-Cost Datalogging
Logger-based temperature monitoring for export shipments. The logger is activated before dispatch and records temperature throughout the journey without requiring connectivity. Data is uploaded at the destination for tamper-proof export documentation.
Export Shipment Temperature Proof
Exporters shipping temperature-sensitive goods face customs and importer requirements for documented cold chain compliance — without any guarantee of network coverage along the route. A single excursion caught at the destination without supporting data means rejected shipments, disputed liability, and costly delays. This offering gives every export consignment a tamper-proof temperature record from activation to arrival.
How it's deployed
A compact EN12830-certified datalogger is activated at the point of dispatch and sealed inside the shipment — no gateway, SIM card, or destination infrastructure required. The logger records temperature at configurable intervals throughout the full journey across road, air, or multimodal legs. On arrival, the recipient connects the logger via USB or NFC to upload the complete dataset in seconds.
Evidence & Reporting
Each logger produces a GDP-aligned PDF report and raw CSV dataset with timestamped temperature readings, calibration certificate reference, and device serial number for full traceability. Reports are generated at the destination and can be attached directly to customs declarations, importer quality records, or temperature-controlled cargo documentation. The logger's tamper-evident seal and audit log confirm the device was not interfered with during transit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Seemoto export loggers are sized for journeys up to 90 days at standard logging intervals. Battery status is visible in the pre-activation checklist, and the logger stores all recorded data in non-volatile memory so no readings are lost even if power is fully depleted before download.
Yes — the logger ships with a self-contained reader application that runs directly from the device with no installation required, or the PDF report can be generated via the Seemoto web portal using just the device serial number. Any consignee with a laptop and a USB port can produce a GDP-compliant report without IT involvement.
The reports are formatted to satisfy GDP Annex requirements for temperature-controlled medicinal products and reference the EN12830 calibration standard accepted across EU and GCC regulatory frameworks. For specific country requirements, the report template can be customised to include additional fields such as Incoterms or regulatory reference codes.
