Cold Storage Monitoring
Warehouse Monitoring
Continuous monitoring for cold rooms and walk-in freezers. Wireless sensors provide real-time temperature tracking with instant excursion alerts, compliance reports, 5-year data storage, and optional temperature mapping to identify hot and cold spots.
Cold Room Excursion Detection
Walk-in freezers and cold rooms are high-risk single points of failure — a door left ajar, a compressor fault, or a defrost cycle that runs too long can destroy an entire batch before staff notice. Seemoto provides real-time excursion alerts with configurable escalation so the right person is notified within minutes, not hours.
How it's deployed
Compact wireless sensors mount directly inside the cold room or freezer with no wiring required, transmitting readings continuously to a gateway outside the insulated structure. For large cold rooms, temperature mapping mode deploys multiple sensors at different heights and positions to identify stratification, hot spots near doors, and dead zones that single-point probes miss.
Evidence & Reporting
The system stores a minimum of 5 years of continuous measurement data with tamper-evident audit logs, supporting compliance requirements under GDP, HACCP, and EN12830 for cold storage operations. Temperature mapping exercises generate spatial distribution reports that can be used to demonstrate equipment qualification and support IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sensors store measurements locally and upload the buffered data automatically when the gateway comes back online, preserving a complete unbroken record. This ensures your 5-year audit trail has no gaps even during infrastructure incidents.
The number depends on the room volume and regulatory requirements — typically 9 to 15 positions for standard pharmaceutical cold rooms per WHO and EU GMP mapping guidance. Seemoto can supply a mapping sensor kit and report template to support your qualification protocol.
Yes. Defrost windows can be configured as scheduled exclusion periods so alerts are suppressed during expected temperature fluctuations without masking genuine excursions outside those windows. Alert logic is fully configurable per unit to match your equipment's operating profile.
