Automated Overnight Uploads
Retail Home Delivery
Hub gateways at depot locations automatically collect data from all returning loggers and sensors overnight. No driver action required — data is uploaded, processed, and ready for review by the next morning.
Zero-Touch Depot Data Sync
Manual data collection from returning delivery loggers is a daily operational burden that introduces human error and creates gaps in the compliance record if drivers forget to dock or upload. Night shifts at depots often run with minimal staff, making manual retrieval impractical. Seemoto's overnight upload infrastructure eliminates this bottleneck entirely.
How it's deployed
Hub gateways are installed at fixed points in the depot — typically near vehicle parking bays and cold-box return areas — and continuously scan for returning loggers and sensors as vehicles arrive throughout the evening. Once a logger enters gateway range, data transfer begins automatically over an encrypted wireless link without any action from the driver or warehouse team.
Evidence & Reporting
By the start of the next business day, all route and box temperature records from the previous day are processed, validated, and available in the Seemoto dashboard with HACCP-ready summary reports. The platform flags any loggers that did not check in overnight, giving operations managers an immediate exception list. All uploaded records carry arrival timestamps and gateway IDs, providing a verifiable chain of custody for EN 12830 compliance purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions
A single hub gateway can process hundreds of loggers within its coverage area during an overnight window, as uploads are queued and handled sequentially in the background. For very large depots, additional gateways extend coverage without any change to the driver workflow.
The platform generates an automated exception report listing any logger IDs expected but not received by a configurable cutoff time. This alert can be sent by email or pushed to a fleet management system, allowing the operations team to investigate before the next dispatch cycle.
Gateway hardware connects over standard ethernet or Wi-Fi and requires only a power outlet and internet access. No depot-side servers or specialist IT configuration are needed; the platform is fully cloud-hosted and managed by Seemoto.
