Reefer Transport Monitoring
Vehicle Monitoring
Real-time temperature and GPS monitoring for refrigerated trucks and trailers. Provides EN12830 and GDP-compliant data logging, route-based alarms, automated per-journey compliance reports, and fleet-wide dashboard access for dispatchers and quality managers.
Journey-Level Cold Chain Compliance
Refrigerated transport operators face regulatory scrutiny on every single delivery — a missed excursion that goes undetected until unloading can result in rejected loads, product write-offs, and GDP audit failures. Seemoto's reefer monitoring captures continuous temperature data alongside GPS position so dispatchers and quality managers can act on route-based alarms before cargo is compromised.
How it's deployed
A compact EN12830-certified logger is mounted inside the reefer unit and paired with a vehicle gateway that transmits data over GSM in real time. Each journey is automatically segmented by ignition events, so loading, transit, and unloading phases are recorded as discrete, timestamped intervals without manual driver input.
Evidence & Reporting
The system produces per-journey PDF compliance reports that satisfy EN12830 and GDP Chapter 9 documentation requirements, including min/max/mean temperatures, GPS waypoints, and any alarm events with their durations. Reports are archived in the fleet dashboard and can be attached directly to delivery documentation or provided to customers on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — the EN12830-certified logger stores data onboard at a configurable interval (typically every 5 minutes) and syncs automatically to the cloud once connectivity is restored. No temperature readings are lost, and the gap is flagged in the journey report so auditors can verify continuity.
Alarm profiles are configured per vehicle or per journey type in the fleet dashboard, so a vehicle carrying +2°C to +8°C product can have tighter thresholds than one carrying chilled produce. Changes take effect immediately and are logged in the audit trail.
Alarm notifications are sent within 2 minutes of a threshold breach via SMS, email, or push notification, depending on the alert configuration. The dispatcher sees the vehicle's current GPS location alongside the temperature deviation so they can decide whether to reroute or contact the driver.
