GPS tracking and temperature monitoring for your truck, trailer and the whole fleet
Seemoto wireless vehicle monitoring premium sensor devices are easy to install to any truck, trailer, delivery van and terminal storage areas within cold chain logistic. Solution includes a low cost option, full featured solution and a cold dolly/trailer solution for monitoring the cold chain.

Solution 1: Full featured real-time solution with GPS
- Real-time GPS tracking of trucks, trailers, vehicles and their routes
- Real-time temperature monitoring from cargo space (EN12830, GDP, FDA cfr 21 part 11)
- Driver sees cargo space temperature(s) from display
- SMS and/or email alert notifications from temperature excursions and location based alerts
- Alert handling tool and audit report – Baseline for alert handling process
Installation:
- DGW (Display Gateway) is installed close to drivers view, preferably fixed 12/24V from vehicle (or USB battery option)
- 1-4 TS wireless temperature sensors are installed to cargo space (IP68 waterproof enclosure, adhesive attaching)
- Configuration is done in Seemoto service, display configurations are pushed to displays automatically
- DGW shows temperatures that are configured to the same asset in Seemoto service
- Also possible to have trailer temperatures (e.g. display shows 2 tractor and 2 trailer temperatures)
Solution 2: Low cost temperature datalogging
- Automated temperature recording from cargo space (EN12830, GDP, FDA cfr 21 part 11)
- The same gateway infrastructure can be used to monitor the shipment
- SMS and/or email alert notifications from temperature excursions AFTER VEHICLE ARRIVES AT TERMINAL AREA
- Alert handling tool and audit report – Baseline for alert handling process
Installation:
- Sensors are installed into truck cargo spaces and/or they may be inside shipments and monitor shipment temperature for shipper
- In the case where sensors are not able to connect and send data to gateways sensors store data into their memory
- Gateways are installed into terminal areas and they automatically collect temperature from all Seemoto wireless sensors that arrive to terminal area
- Temperature data can be accessed from Seemoto service. Sensor data linked to assets as configured in service.
- The range of wireless sensors is approximately 100 - 400m. This depends on walls and surrounding environment.
Solution 3: Cold dolly/trailer solution
- Real-time temperature monitoring from cargo space (EN12830, GDP, FDA cfr 21 part 11)
- Real-time GPS tracking, route reporting, POI departure / arrival alerting
- SMS and/or email alert notifications from temperature excursions and locations based alerts
- Alert handling tool and audit report – Baseline for alert handling process
Installation:
- 1-3 TS-sensors inside each cool dolly. Sensors are small, battery operated, IP68 (fully waterproof) and operate wirelessly from -40C to´+85C.
- Easy installation: Sensors are attached with adhesive tape or cable tie (preferred solution).
- Gateway is installed inside cooling unit and powered from cooling unit's battery. It sends all sensor and location data to Seemoto service.
Seemoto System
Seemoto wireless vehicle monitoring consists of wireless sensor devices, that monitor their environment and communicate the collected data via gateways that forward the data to Seemoto cloud service. System can be installed to any truck, trailer, delivery van, car or any other tracked vehicle/asset of your fleet. The most common monitoring parameters are temperature and relative humidity, but also other parameters have been implemented. Access to real-time and history data of is provided by an internet browser with intuitive UI and versatile reports.
